The revival of England's great perfumed legacy

Few perfume houses can claim a history as rich as Grossmith. Founded in London in 1835, Grossmith is one of the oldest fragrance houses in Britain and arguably one of the most remarkable revival stories in modern perfumery.

Once celebrated alongside the great French perfume houses, patronised by royalty, and known for pioneering imaginative fragrances inspired by distant lands, Grossmith disappeared for decades before being rediscovered and resurrected by descendants of its founder.

Simon Brooke, the great-great-grandson of founder John Grossmith, rediscovered the authentic 19th-century perfume formulas he and his family started their revival journey of this beautiful perfume house.
