Story
Founder Linda Pilkington travelled to Laos to source the oudh used in the formula of this fragrance, a rarity in 2004, when few Western houses were using real agarwood in fine fragrance at all. Perfumer Geza Schoen built the composition around it, pairing peppery spice with a note so unusual (black hemlock) that it remains one of the most wonderful and unusual compositions of the modern perfumery.
